I would like to apply for a work experience placement at the Newham University Hospital NHS Trust as I believe that I have the essential skills, abilities and relevant experience required to do this type of work.
Since embarking on my sixth form courses I have been determined to pursue a career in medicine. I believe that by acquiring a work experience with a specialist in local healthcare and a nationally recognised team in Diabetes and Bilingual Health Advocacy; the experience will aid my ambition to become a specialist doctor.
My ambition to become a doctor is heavily influenced by my belief to succeed in life, face challenging situations and decipher it and to change society for the greater cause of mankind. As a result; I have adopted skills such as being patient whilst working alongside younger pupils. At an extracurricular organisation, STEMNET, an organisation which is funded by the government for engineering, I lead a small group of students in creating a feasible “eco-village” whose sole power source relied on renewable energy sources as alternative methods in generating power for a small villages.
Newham University Hospital NHS Trust has the opportunity for me to expand on my existing skills and the ability to transmit new skills which I will be able to foster for future use. It is in the interest of my future that I feel I should make the best use of time and experience to enable me to become the best I can be.
Thank you very much for reading this letter, I am available for flexible work experience arrangements and can take up work experience during these dates: Monday 18th February - Friday 22nd February.
Monday 26th May - Friday 30th May.
If you do not have any current vacancies, please feel free to pass this letter to other departments, or keep it on file for future opportunities.
Yours sincerely
Abdul Haydor (Mr.)
